Hundreds of students are expected to descend on the University of Wolverhampton to find out what it has to offer as part of its annual summer Open Day.

The University will host the event at its Wolverhampton and Walsall Campuses on Saturday, 18 August 2012.

Students and their families will be able to look around the University facilities at the Open Day from 10am until 3pm.

Lecturers and current students will be on hand to offer advice on courses and campus life and there will be presentations on finances.

Visitors can conduct walking tours of the accommodation, attend talks and workshops on the various courses available and meet careers advisors.

Education Events Manager, Louise O’Neill, said: “The Open Day is a great opportunity for people who may be applying to the University through Clearing to tour the facilities and meet lecturers. There will also be information for people applying for 2013 entry, including talks on the fees system and finances.”

At Wolverhampton City Campus, visitors will find information about applied sciences, art & design, business, computing & IT, engineering & the built environment, health and nursing, law, social sciences and communications.

There will be details about sport, music, dance, drama, leisure and lifestyle industries, midwifery, nursing, teaching and education at the Walsall Campus.
