Open day welcomes visitors

The event will take place at the Wolverhampton and Walsall Campuses on Saturday, 8 October 2011 from 10am until 3pm.

Those visitors hoping to study at the will have the opportunity to look around the University’s brand new Performance Hub at Walsall, which opened its doors this academic year.

At the open day, there will be an opportunity to look around the facilities, tour the campuses and meet prospective lecturers.

Visitors can also see the student accommodation and talk to the experts about money to study and careers. There will also be a talk explaining undergraduate funding for 2012 entry.

Danielle Spittle, Education Events Manager, said: “There’s plenty to do throughout the day at the Open Day, and we have a full programme of talks, tours and workshops.

“In the Subject Fair, prospective students can chat to our academics about the subjects they are interested in studying, and in our Student Support Zone there will be lots of information about the services available while at University.”

At Wolverhampton City Campus people will find information about applied sciences, art & design, business, computing & IT, engineering & the built environment, health and nursing, law, social sciences and communications.

Meanwhile, information about sport, music, dance, drama, leisure and lifestyle industries, midwifery, nursing, teaching and education will be available at Walsall Campus.
