Professor Linda Lang, Dean of the School of Health

Professor Linda Lang, Dean of the School of Health, will present the lecture on Wednesday, 29 April 2009, at 6pm.

The lecture, titled Health Care and Social Care Services: how to achieve meaningful service user involvement, will take place in the Millennium City Building Lecture Theatre on the Wolverhampton City Campus.

Professor Lang will discuss the importance of health and social care organisations working together to ensure high quality care for people, and the need to foster this approach in universities involved in related education and research.

She said: “How to achieve meaningful service user involvement is the challenge for all those working within this area and this will be the focus of my lecture. I will draw examples from experience of healthcare and clinical research in India and the USA and from higher education in the UK.”
