Uni opens doors to visitors

25/09/2008

The Open Day will take place at both the Wolverhampton City and Walsall Campuses on Saturday, 27 September 2008.

Prospective students and their families will be able to look around the facilities, take tours of the campuses and meet prospective lecturers from 10am to 4pm.

Visitors will also be able to see the student accommodation and talk to the experts on money to study and careers.

Open Day Co-ordinator Katy Guest said: “There will be plenty of information on a whole range of courses on offer at the University, including art and design, business, science and humanities subjects. The University offers courses at different levels, including full-time and part-time degrees, diplomas and foundation degrees.

“Visit Walsall if you are particularly interested in sport, music, dance, leisure and lifestyle, education, teaching, and midwifery courses, or City Campus if you are interested in any of our other subjects. Nursing is represented at both campuses.”

There will also be a regular free shuttle bus service between the two campuses so people can be sure of finding out about the subjects they’re interested in.
