Students celebrate graduation

 
 
The University will hold graduation ceremonies for its 10 academic Schools from today, Monday, September 1, 2008.
 
More than 4,000 students will receive their degrees at a total of 18 ceremonies at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre.
 
The first students to graduate this week are from the School of Health in a ceremony on Monday afternoon, and they will be followed by students from the School of Engineering and the Built Environment, who will receive their degrees in the evening.
 
The last graduation will take place on Wednesday, 10 September when students from the School of Computing and Information Technology will receive their awards.
 
There are also a number of honorary awards being presented to people who have made an outstanding contribution to their field of expertise.
 
University of Wolverhampton Vice Chancellor, Professor Caroline Gipps, said: “We are delighted to celebrate the success of our students who are graduating this year. We wish them all the very best of luck in their future careers or further study.
 
“We are also pleased to welcome those who are receiving honorary degrees from the University.”
