Uni prepares for Open Day visitors

17/09/2014
The event on Saturday, June 21 2008 from 10am until 4pm will be held at both the Wolverhampton City and Walsall Campuses.

People can look around the facilities, tour the campuses, meet lecturers and students and visit the student accommodation. There will also be experts on hand to provide information about money and careers.

Visitors can attend talks about various subject areas, including one by Professor Jim Waddington about the University’s new BSc (Hons) in Policing. At the Walsall Campus, people can find out about sport, music, dance, leisure and lifestyle, education, teaching, nursing and midwifery, with information about all other subjects at the City Campus.

Katy Guest, Open Day Co-ordinator, said: "People of any age are welcome to come along on Saturday, June 21 to our Walsall and Wolverhampton Campuses to find out more. It is a great opportunity to meet staff and students at the University and see the range of courses and work placements we have to offer."

To ensure ‘fast-track’ entry on the day people can fill out a booking form online and there will also be a regular free shuttle bus service between the two campuses so people can be sure of finding out about the subjects they’re interested in.
