Canvas Support is available 24-7-365 via written and video guides, live chat, a designated UK Freephone number and an international number (charged at local rate). To access this support, log in to Canvas and click on the ‘Help’ button on the lower left-hand menu. Please utilise this service any time you require help with Canvas.

Canvas4Learning Jan – May 2017 The aim of the Canvas4Learning session is to identify the key learning and teaching strategies that you employ within your discipline. This will help us to ensure that your use of Canvas is informed and led by pedagogy rather than technology. Canvas4Learning sessions will be organised by your Faculty.
Canvas Quick Start Jan – Sept 2017 This is an online learning package which is available to all staff. Canvas Quick Start is available on the eLearning Portal and explores the Canvas timeline, where additional training is available and how to log in to Canvas.
Blank Canvas Jan – Apr 2017 The Blank Canvas sessions will allow new Canvas users to explore the system and its features. This will give the participants the basic understanding of how to use and progress with Canvas.
Blank Canvas (Online) Jan – Apr 2017 The Blank Canvas sessions will allow new Canvas users to explore the system and its features. This will give the participants the basic understanding of how to use and progress with Canvas. This session is delivered purely online using video conferencing software.
Canvas Administration Mar – Sept 2017 This session can be coordinated with Faculty Administrative Teams to demonstrate specific functionality in using Canvas and how they can support learning and teaching.
Supporting TNE and External Partners Apr – Sept 2017 There are two specific sessions available to support UK and Overseas Partners. Firstly, Link Tutors will receive ‘Link Tutor Awareness’ training, providing them with the skills and knowledge to support staff at our TNE locations and partner institutions. Secondly, online sessions will be coordinated with Link Tutors for UK and Overseas Partner staff. These will be scheduled at suitable times to receive maximum attendance.
What to do with my content? Apr 2017 – Onwards This is an online video that showcases where and how to structure your content once it has been copied from WOLF/WLVglobal to Canvas.
Getting Ready Apr – Oct 2017 This session is designed specifically for academics and provides them with the skills required to use Canvas with their students and help them prepare for the full launch of Canvas in August 2017. Participants can explore functionality and features while reviewing their own modules/courses with a Canvas expert.
Getting Ready (Online) Apr – Oct 2017 This session is designed specifically for academics and provides them with the skills required to use Canvas with their students and help them prepare for the full launch of Canvas in August 2017. Participants can explore functionality and features while reviewing their own modules/courses with a Canvas expert. This session is delivered purely online using video conferencing software.
Explore Canvas Oct 2017 – Onwards This session is tailored to the attendees so that they can discuss specific areas they wish to explore and develop. Participants must come with prior knowledge of Canvas.
Canvas & Turnitin Oct - Dec 2017 This session is designed to help academic staff prepare and use Turnitin in their Canvas course(s).
