Students are asked to undertake a number of tasks using blended learning approaches. In week 1 students will be asked to work in groups of three and conduct web based research on three PR agencies. The Students then upload a summary of each agency onto a WOLF forum identifying unique selling points, target audience, strengths and weaknesses. The following week they will to do a short ‘pitch’ on one on their chosen agencies.
Student are also asked to conduct a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) and PEST (Political, Economic, Social, and Technological) analysis on a chosen business and upload this to the module WOLF topic so that it can be seen by the other groups. All groups must review the WOLF forum SWOT / PEST submissions and provide an analysis of their ‘competitors’.
