Individuals who wish to make subject access requests must make their request in writing. You can write to us or you can use our Data protection subject access request (Word doc 53k). Both are valid means of making a request.
Written requests must be returned with the fee and proof of identity to Office of the University Secretary, Offices of the Vice-Chancellor, Wulfruna Building, Wulfruna Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 1LY or, alternatively, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note, the 40 day period begins from receipt of request, id and payment. Therefore it is suggested you send all your documentation as early as you can to avoid any delay.
Under the Data Protection Act 1998, the University has 40 calendar days to respond to your request for personal data. This 40 day period begins from receipt of your request, fee and identification documentation. Therefore, it is recommended that you send all the documentation specified in the Subject Access Request Form as early as you can to avoid any undue delay or disappointment.
