Our computing and mathematical science department spans a wide selection of courses including Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology Management, Mathematics and much more.

Students who choose to study a course in this area will have access to a range of a cutting-edge computing equipment, dynamic learning spaces and expert teaching, all housed in our Alan Turing Building.

Many of our courses are accredited by professional bodies, including the Chartered Institute for IT and the Institute of Mathematics (IMA), which means they are designed to meet the requirements of these bodies and our industry partners who have helped inform their content.

From data scientists to cyber risk analysts, graduates have gone on to secure successful careers at leading companies such as Yorkshire Water, Office for National Statistics (ONS), West Midlands Police, City of Wolverhampton Council, the NHS, and the UK Home Office.
