International Student and Education Partnerships (In-STEP)

The In-STEP project is funded by JISC as part of its Transformations Programme. The project aims to address the transition and orientation of international students into a blended learning environment, through the development of their digital literacies.

Wolverhampton infrastructure for Business and Community Engagement (Wi4BCE)

The Wi4BCE project is funded by JISC as part of its Transformations Programme. The project aims to improve the universities ability to provide a wider, flexible and responsive range of workforce development opportunities.

Global Citizenship as a Graduate Attribute: an ESRC Seminar Series

The ESRC seminar series is led by the University of Wolverhampton with partners from: The Institute of Education, London University, University of the Arts, University College London and Thames Valley University.

Disparities in Student Attainment (DISA)

The DISA Project is a joint study with Coventry University which will explore the gap between Black minority ethnic (BME) and white students across the two universities.

Digitally Enhanced Patchwork Text Assessment (DPTA)

The Digitally Enhanced Patchwork Text Assessment (DPTA) project will develop the use and effectiveness of digitally supported patchwork text assessments in a range of traditional academic subjects within different HEIs.

Learning to Teach Inclusively

The Learning to Teach Inclusively project will develop and deliver a 30 credit ‘tailor-able’ module entitled ‘teaching inclusively’ that may be taken by teaching and support staff as part of an accredited professional development programme.

ePortfolio Community of Practice (ePCoP)

The ePortfolio Community of Practice (ePCoP) project is a benefits realisation project that has been funded through JISC and will develop the work of the ePPSME project through fostering a community of practice for e-portfolio pedagogies for work-based and lifelong learning through a synthesis of existing practice. A web resource will be developed in collaboration with JISC infoNet. The project will work with the Centre for Recording Achievement, Pebble Learning and Academy Subject Centres to engage existing stakeholder communities to identify and engage with practitioners.

An e-Portfolio based Pedagogy for SMEs (ePPSME)

ePPSME is a JISC funded project that will provide the HE sector with reusable models and resources for an e-portfolio based pedagogy for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).

What Works for Students?

The What works for students? project started as a result of looking into what affects the retention and progression of students across the university. The research focused on student perspectives on their studies and the skills they have gained while at university.

Graduate Attributes

The Graduate attributes project project aims to research the impact of the universities three graduate attributes on both the student  experience, and on learning and teaching.
