The School of Art & Design has a long
standing history of design excellence and offers a broad range of
courses all housed within one purpose-built building in the heart
of the city of Wolverhampton.
The creative community within the school
comprises of a team of academics/industry professionals, expert
technicians and internationally recognized researchers. We provide
a strong platform for our students to develop their skills, engage
with industry in preparation to enter the workplace as artists,
designers and makers.
Our students have access to excellent teaching
and studio spaces from hot-glass blowing studios, wood and metals
workshops to computer labs with all the latest industry standard
software.
We understand the importance of students
engaging with industry through competitions, live briefs, projects
and by taking part in work placements and by exhibiting in our
annual degree shows, each June, giving students the perfect
opportunity to showcase their work.
