ILE is responsible for supporting the development of student learning, curriculum design, blended, flexible and distance learning.

Information and Resources

We run a postgraduate certificate in academic practice and a variety of workshops in blended learning and other areas of teaching.

We also provide postgraduate training, doctoral supervision training and support for the Early Researcher Award Scheme and have a number of externally funded research and development projects.

Latest ILE website updates:

• (NEW) Resources are now available from the fifth seminar in the ESRC Seminar Series.
• (NEW) International Student and Education Partnerships (In-STEP)
  This project will address the transition and orientation of international students into a blended learning environment, through the development of their digital literacies.
• How to guide your students to get the most out of the learning resources in WOLF.

• Wolverhampton infrastructure for Business and Community Engagement (Wi4BCE)
  This new project is funded by JISC as part of its Transformations Programme. The project aims to improve the universities ability to provide a wider, flexible and responsive range of workforce development opportunities.

Staff Support

We offer workshops, one-to-one and team support, a programme in academic practice for colleagues new to university teaching (PG Cert in Academic Practice in H.E ) and an Education Doctoral programme (with the School of Education). 

Postgraduate Programmes

We also support programmes for Postgraduate Research Students, the Research Supervisor Development Programme and Early Researcher Awards Scheme (ERAS).
