ILE is responsible for supporting the development of student learning, curriculum design, blended, flexible and distance learning.
We run a postgraduate certificate in academic practice and a variety of workshops in blended learning and other areas of teaching.
We also provide postgraduate training, doctoral supervision training and support for the Early Researcher Award Scheme and have a number of externally funded research and development projects.

Wolverhampton infrastructure for Business and Community Engagement (Wi4BCE)This new project is funded by JISC as part of its Transformations Programme. The project aims to improve the universities ability to provide a wider, flexible and responsive range of workforce development opportunities.
We offer workshops, one-to-one and team support, a programme in academic practice for colleagues new to university teaching (PG Cert in Academic Practice in H.E ) and an Education Doctoral programme (with the School of Education).
We also support programmes for Postgraduate Research Students, the Research Supervisor Development Programme and Early Researcher Awards Scheme (ERAS).
