Research and income generation

The focus of the cross school role is to support academic staff in the School to engage with research and income generation through capacity and capability building. The main areas of activity will include (but not be restricted to) ·

  • Liaison with subject teams around clinical/subject specific issues which may require further development and investigation.
  • Research based teaching/evidence based practice.
  • Follow-up on new and existing academic links with clinical areas or businesses to explore potential research or consultancy requirements.
  •  Provide first contact point for academic staff and post graduate/higher degree students re personal research development.
  • Provide individual or group advice re research dissemination.
  • Liaise with subject team to generate potential questions or gain advice re specific ITT or open calls for proposals.
  • Update subject teams on research and income generation developments in CHSCI/SHaW
