Prof. Sabah Mushatat - Architecture and Design

sabbah mushatatProf. Sabbah Mushatat has taught architecture for 25 years, initially overseas and now in the UK, through them he conducted the post of the Head of Schools of Architecture in many countries of Middle East.

Expertise

Academic:

  • Prof. Mushatat is an architect
  • Sabah has a Diploma and PhD in Architecture

Research:

  • Publisher of six books
  • Concentrating mainly on the fields of architecture, environmental and sustainable design, construction and architectural education, he has six books published, as well 2 textbooks, and more than 50 research papers in refereed journals and conferences. He has produced 12 research reports, and compiled eight national and international presentations.
  • He has supervised several postgraduate dissertations and doctoral theses, and he has developed his research track record both as a team member and leader of dedicated research and academic staff.

Professional:

  • He has also been active in establishing links with industry and the wider community.
  • Sabah has served several national and international scientific bodies, such as the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) , and UNESCO.
  • He has worked as International Consultant for the governments of both Holland and Germany.
  • Prof. Mushatat is the organiser of the prestigious Ajman International Urban Planning Conference (AIUPC), which is holding every year in UAE. He serves as a member of several Editorial Boards.
