Ann heads the University's Staff Development Unit, working with Schools and Departments to plan and support their identified development needs. This includes monitoring business plans and strategic change to identify areas for skills development.
Ann has a background in computer programming, industrial systems management and development, lecturing in the Further Education and project management in the Secondary sector.
To compliment the work based experience, Ann also has volunteer roles of governor at primary level, and trustee of an Educational Charity. Her Scottish ancestry is challenged by many colleagues, especially in times of sporting debate.
