The management of the University is the responsibility of the Vice-Chancellor Professor Geoff Layer and reporting to him are the Offices of the Vice-Chancellor:

Sir Geoff Hampton – Deputy Vice-Chancellor, External Affairs
Ms Jane Nelson – Pro Vice-Chancellor, Student Recruitment
Professor Ian Oakes – Pro Vice-Chancellor, Research and Enterprise
Mrs Helen Lloyd Wildman - The Registrar
Mr Andy Holding – Finance Director
The University's governance is the responsibility of our Board of Governors who have oversight, under the Articles of Government for the University’s activities and for the effective use of University resources and safeguarding of assets.
The Deans and Service Directors support the Offices of the Vice-Chancellor in delivering on plans as agreed through strategic planning.
