The Chaplaincy is both a place and a team of people.
The place is the Chaplaincy Centre and is open every weekday, situated between Randall Lines and MX Building on City Campus. We offer a welcoming environment for everyone - whether you follow a religion or not.
Offering a comfortable place to relax alone or with friends, you can unwind with a hot drink, watch the TV, play the piano or simply take a moment to reflect.
What's on offer at the Chaplaincy?...
People of all faiths or none are welcome. The University has a prayer room in ML building on City Campus, offering communal Friday Moslem prayers and also provides space for prayer at Telford and Walsall campuses.
The people... the chaplains work as a team and we offer a confidential ear and pastoral support throughout the University community. We also organise public lectures and discussion groups on ethics, spirituality and questions of faith and science. We link closely with the student faith societies on campus, local churches and the wider community.
The Chaplains are experienced in offering guidance, support and spiritual direction and are available and ready to talk to students of any religion or none.
If you would like to see a chaplain then please telephone the secretary on 01902 322903 or else call in at the Chaplaincy Centre. Someone may be available to see you straight away, but if this is not possible then you will be able to make an appointment.
