If you fancy representing the University in a
competitive sport, or trying something new recreationally, our
sports programme has something for everyone. The Students’ Union
(SU) run over 10 competitive and recreational sports clubs across
the Walsall and Wolverhampton campuses and it is open to anyone of

Being part of an SU club entitles you to
personal Endsleigh insurance for participation, facilities,
equipment, professional coaching and transport expenses to
fixtures, competitions and training events

Sport is a huge part of your university experience.
It can help improve your physical fitness and to form great new
friendships. SU clubs compete in British Universities and Colleges
Sport (BUCS), local leagues and regional competitions. With a
little of your commitment and the dedication of our professional
coaches and instructors, SU Sport is sure to be an experience you
will never forget. All our coaches and instructors have immense
pride and passion to train students within our sports clubs and
help them to realise their goals.

at Walsall Campus and speak to your Student Sport Co-ordinator or
Activities VP. Alternatively speak to one of the sports coaches or
instructors at a club training session.

VOLLEYBALL (MEN’S AND WOMEN’S)
One team competes in the West Midlands Volleyball League,
Students are encouraged to work towards their belts at regular
grading events and are instructed by a licensed coach.
BADMINTON (MEN’S & WOMEN’S)
ULTIMATE FRISBEE (RECREATIONAL)
Men’s, Women’s and mixed teams compete in BUCS and open
tournaments during the year.

FA Mars Just Play Football
Have a kick about, keepy uppy and penalty shoot out competitions
as well as 5 a side friendlies. Open to anyone.

**Enter a halls or department team or
just get a group of friends together for weekly fixtures. Entry
deadline 24th September 2011.
