New Insight

Polish links promoted to students

The International Office recently welcomed a visitor from an Erasmus partner Institute - Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland.

Mark Hoogslag presented to students to encourage them to take part in the Erasmus programme.

He has been a member of the English Philology Faculty for the last nine years, teaching English to students aged 19-24.

He presented a digital slide show called 'Mark's instruction manual to Poland' which gave a light-hearted insight into life and study in Poland.

More than 50 students attended the two presentations, which were very informative and lively and it is likely it will encourage more students to take part in Erasmus exchanges to Nicholas Copernicius University where they teach their courses in English.
