On Friday 24th April the Kreutzer Quartet will be offering a workshop directed by Visiting Professor in Composition, Michael Finnissy. The workshop will be preceeded by an evening concert and pre-concert talk by Michael Finnissy on Thursday 23rd April, including the world premiere of his Third String Quartet at St. John’s Church, Wolverhampton, at 7.30pm. The Pre-concert talk will take place at 6.30pm.

Michael Finnissy, Visiting Professor in Composition at the University of Wolverhampton, is directing a workshop with the Kreutzer Quartet featuring works in progress by composition students from schools, colleges and universities in the region.
Submissions for string duo, trio or quartet must comprise 3 copies of the score as well as individual parts and should be sent to: Dr Amanda Bayley, University of Wolverhampton, Walsall Campus, Gorway Road, Walsall, West Midlands, WS1 3BD.
Candidates whose pieces have been short-listed for the workshop will be notified by Friday 17 April.
