Students and recent graduates from the University of Wolverhampton can find out more about an exciting career in the IT and computing industry at a special event.
The annual IT Careers Fair will take place at the University’s City Campus on Thursday, 19 February 2009. The event will be held in the Exhibition Hall in the Millennium City Building (MC301) from 12pm until 4pm.
National and local employers will be exhibiting to promote their IT related placements and graduate jobs. These include Capgemini, Kalamazoo-Reynolds, FDM Group, Royal Air Force and Lighthouse Design for Business Ltd.
Kam Atwal, Employer Liaison Officer, said: “This is a great opportunity for students and recent graduates of the University of Wolverhampton to meet representatives from the IT industry and find out more about pursuing a successful career in the IT sector.”
The fair has been organised by The Workplace, Careers and Employment Services and the School of Computing and Information Technology’s Employability and Placement Unit.
