New degrees set for launch
A series of new IT degrees are set to be launched by the University of Wolverhampton at a special event.
The
School of Computing and Information Technology
(SCIT) is launching the new Postgraduate degrees to meet demand for skills in industry.
Anyone interested in finding out more about the courses can attend the event on Tuesday, 2 September 2008 at the MI Building at the Wolverhampton City Campus from 6pm until 8pm.
Professor Robert Newman, Associate Dean of SCIT, said: “There are a number of benefits to postgraduate study. Our new MSc courses equip students with specialist skills that employers are looking for in today’s competitive market. At the launch, prospective students will be able to meet our postgraduate academic staff and attend an interactive postgraduate workshop.”
The courses offered at the City Campus are MSc Computer Science, MSc Computer Science (Internet Engineering), MSc Information Technology and MSc Information Technology (Data Engineering).
There are also courses offered at the University’s Telford Campus. These are the MSc Strategic IT Management, MSc IT Management and MSc IT Management (E-business).
