The themed aspects of our work in CHSCI focuses on research and consultancy projects which reflect the particular strengths and expertise of our researchers in CHSCI and academic colleagues in the School of Health and Wellbeing.
However, through links with researchers across the university, private and voluntary sectors, health and social care trusts, a variety of research projects and methods appropriate to particular studies are also encouraged.
There are four main themes within CHSCI
Each theme has an overview which introduces the focus of each theme when it appears on the website, in any publicity or marketing.
The finished section on the SHaW/CHSCI website articulates the range and scope of the current work/projects being undertaken in these areas to reflect the relevant political/policy/social or practice issues linked to each programme of work.
The broad focus of the themes and the decision not to highlight in the chosen titles ‘key words’ which are time of geography bound means it will be easier to modify the range and scope of the indicative content as necessary without changing the overall theme.
